For years I’ve been looking to kick the habit of smoking, and I’ve tried all the available aids to help stop. Patches, mints, chewing gum, spray’s, weird asthma pump looking like things… ultimately all the aids couldn’t kick the habit. Boiling down to one explanation, I have no will power. Being surrounded in social circle where everyone smokes doesn’t make it any easier.

I can’t exactly remember when but I came across an e-cigarette that tasted like a cigarette though it lit up artificially. Technology and smoking? I was sold.

After dabbling a couple of years with the start kits for e-cigarettes and vaping pens I eventually moved on to “real vaping”, or so I was told. What did that even mean?! Having someone else help navigate my way through the complexities of vaping definitely helped replace my smoking with vaping, yes I said it – replaced. I bought a bunch of separate kit, regulated mod / atomiser / batteries / tool kit / cotton / wire, and haven’t looked back since. I had no idea what I was doing but the mix of research and the interest in technology peaked my attention. I stopped smoking completely and pretty much instantly.

So what type of vaper am I today?

Let’s run it down:

  • Cloud vs Flavour – Definitely more flavour than cloud but every vaper loves a good cloud.
  • Preferred Flavours – Tropical Fruit / Sweet / Sours.
  • Disliked Flavours – Anything too that has too much cinnamon, cream or too much menthol.
  • Daily Juice – Moku Oyatsu White Gummi / Far by Elements Grape / Nasty Juice Slow Blow
  • Nicotine Level – 3mg
  • Preferred Draw – Direct To Lung (DTL) / Medium Airflow
